Illuminating Design Concept
At the heart of Relámpago House lies a distinctive design concept – lightning. Serving as a central element, lightning materializes into walls and luminaires, defining and delineating interior spaces with striking clarity.
Inspired by Fantasy
Adrià Orriols, Joan Gener, and Miquel Ruiz from h3o Architects drew inspiration from the house’s history, particularly a lightning strike that occurred years ago. This event served as a catalyst for a design narrative rooted in fantasy and imagination.
Departure from Conventional Interiors
The primary goal of the renovation was to depart from mundane interior designs and cultivate a unique architectural experience. By merging transgressive architecture with a strong sense of identity, h3o architects crafted a proposal that harmonized geometries, materials, and colors, resulting in a dynamic and stimulating interior.
Zigzag Morphology
The renovation embraced a zigzag distribution, shaping and delineating various areas within the house. Angular lines and flowing geometries created a visual and spatial dynamism, captivating users and challenging conventional spatial perceptions.
