He established a close-knit group known as the ROMEO Club (Retired Old Men Eating Out), comprising approximately a dozen friends who frequently join him for meals, as revealed in an interview with local TV station WDTV.

Reflecting on his longevity, White expressed a light-hearted sentiment, stating that he couldn’t fathom changing his routine after all these years. “I’ve been coming here for 36 years — I can’t stop now,” he remarked, showcasing his unwavering dedication to his daily McDonald’s visits.
